LandeshauptstadtWir, KII und KI a, Frau Kindler, Frau Schmeltzer und Frau Macek haben uns am Freitag, den 11.07.2025 die Inszenierung von Shakespeares „The Merchant of Venice“ des Entity Theatres e.V. (siehe Beschreibung unten) angesehen. Die Vorstellung fand im Theatron im Westpark statt und wurde auch in englischer Sprache aufgeführt. Kissen und Decken haben wir mitgebracht und natürlich ganz viele Snacks und Getränke und wir haben die Vorstellung, die gratis war, genossen. Ende gut, alles gut.

- How? It’s for free, simply bring a blanket, seat cushion etc. and we can have a picnic, so let’s bring fooood!

The Story
Antonio, a Venetian merchant, seeks the assistance of Shylock in his endeavors to help his friend Bassanio woo Portia. When Antonio is unable to repay the loan, Shylock demands the repayment of the debt in the form of a pound of his flesh. The heiress Portia, now the wife of Bassanio, disguises herself as a lawyer and takes on Antonio’s defence. Will she succeed?
